Frequently Asked Questions
What is the POE-M921-E used for?
It adds PoE power to a standard Gigabit Ethernet connection, allowing data and power to travel to a compatible device through one network cable.
Does it support Gigabit Ethernet?
Yes. Its straight-through RJ45 ports support Gigabit data transmission.
Does it support PoE++ devices?
Yes. It supports IEEE 802.3bt along with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at devices, up to the injector’s 50 W output limit.
Does it need a separate power brick?
No external DC brick is required. The injector accepts 100–240 VAC through its three-pin appliance inlet.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. The enclosure includes mounting tabs and can also be used on a desktop.
