Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there three voltage settings?
They allow a qualified installer to select 12V, 13.8V or 15V for compatible equipment and verified cable-drop compensation.

Does each channel provide 8A?
No. The supply provides 8A total. Each output is limited to 1.35A maximum.

Can it be used outdoors?
The enclosure is rainproof when correctly mounted, sealed and installed. Follow local electrical codes and provide suitable grounding and surge protection.

How do I select the correct voltage?
Confirm the powered device's acceptable voltage range, calculate cable loss and measure voltage at the device under load. Do not select voltage by cable length alone.
