POE-EOC-02 is an outdoor waterproof PoE extender that carries network data and PoE over one Ethernet cable to extend a compatible IP camera or wireless device beyond a standard 100 m / 328 ft cable run.

Sold individually at $50 each. A complete long-distance extender link requires a pair of two POE-EOC-02 units.

Extend PoE farther outdoors

  • Two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports: PoE input and PoE output
  • IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE pass-through support
  • Supports PoE input above 90 W and up to 90 W output
  • Weatherproof inline housing with sealed cable glands
  • No local power adapter required
  • Short-circuit protection on PoE output
  • One extender adds up to 100 m / 328 ft of Ethernet and PoE extension
  • A two-unit pair can extend transmission up to 800 m / 2,640 ft, depending on cable quality, installation, and available PoE power

How it works

Connect the INPUT port to a compatible PoE source and the OUTPUT port to the powered device. For the extended-pair topology, purchase and install two POE-EOC-02 extenders according to the application diagram and maintain the indicated INPUT/OUTPUT direction.

Questions and answers

Is the $50 price for a pair?

No. The price is for one extender. Purchase two units for a complete long-distance extender pair.

Do I need a separate power supply?

No. The extender receives power through the PoE Ethernet connection from a compatible upstream PoE source.

Can I use one extender?

Yes. One unit extends Ethernet and PoE up to 100 m / 328 ft in the specified topology.

How far can two extenders reach?

A two-unit pair can extend transmission up to 800 m / 2,640 ft, subject to cable quality, installation conditions, and available PoE power.

Can it power high-power PoE equipment?

It supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt pass-through. Confirm that the upstream switch or injector power budget, cable length, and total losses can support the powered device.
